BIKE NIGHT! Meet up at the shop and be ready to roll at 6pm
Helmets and lights are required. This is a group ride that is primarily on the road. Average pace is around 13mph but this is a no-drop ride meaning no one gets left behind. Please understand the laws of riding a bicycle on the road and practice safe riding. If you are unfamiliar, just ask us prior to the ride! It is also a great idea to look at the route provided. The routes will normally be posted a few days before the ride. We try to take wind/other weather conditions into account to make the ride more enjoyable 🤗. Routes are created via RidewithGPS. This is a free app to view the routes, but for a small fee per month you can get turn by turn directions while riding, download other routes to use on your own, and even create your own routes.
Our group rides are posted on Columbus Outdoor Pursuits' (COP) website meaning we are covered under their umbrella insurane for the rides. To be eligible for this insurance yourself, you must register via their website. One registration will cover the entire season. During your registration, you can select other rides that you may join in that aren't Heritage Cycles' rides. It does ask for a one time donation - while that is not required, the donation will go towards the insurance fee. COP recommends $20 for the season. CLICK HERE for the link to register for the season.
